African Banker Awards, 2015

The most prestigious event in Africa’s banking and finance sector, the African Banker Awards, is held under the patronage of the African Development Bank. The 9th edition of the awards taok place during the AfDB’s annual meeting - 25-29 May, 2015, Abidjan (Cote-d’Ivoir).

The African Banker Awards are designed to recognise the reforms, rapid modernisation, consolidation, integration and expansion of Africa’s banking and financial sector.

The African Banker Awards is a landmark annual event for Africa. Organised by IC Events in co-operation with BusinessinAfrica Events, the African Banker Awards celebrates excellence and best practices in African banking.

Recognising the 400 personalities and banks that are driving Africa’s rapidly transforming financial sector, the African Banker Awards bring together industry leaders from Africa and the world.
It celebrates the achievements of those who are driving growth, development, creating new economic opportunities for citizens and communities and inspiring the new generation of bankers who are shaping Africa’s future.
